A) It doesn't need to be expensive or from their registry, it just needs to be from the heart. Here is a simple, yet memorable gift. Get a bottle of champagne (Ballatore is great and yet inexpensive), two nice champagne flutes (Mikasa is always having clearance sales where you can get absolutely stunning flutes quite inexpensively), If you can spare a bit more you might even add a gift certificate for dinner or movie or whatever thay like to do for recreation. It may not be extravagant, but you will be remembered kindly, and you will not have broken the bank to get a gift. Good luck!

My Friends getting married can anyone help me with wedding gift ideas for the happy couple?

A) Usually the couple is registered at Target, Beth Bath & Beyond etc but if not home appliances always work. Also, gift cards are a good idea. I always like giving fun things like a fondue maker or maragarita set. Or, you could get them tickets to a concert/sporting event etc. Depends on how much $$ you want to spend! If you still need ideas, ask someone at the store!

Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversairy.. gift ideas???

Q) I want to get them something really special and personal, unique. Has anyone any ideas??

A) If you're close to your grandparents, you could do a photo album/scrapbook documenting their relationship through the years and write about how inspirational they are in staying married for so long. I made collage frames for my grandparents for their 50th with pictures of them from back in the day, various family members and at that time. (I was only 17 so didn't have much money!) I also had one of my grandfather's favorite pictures restored for framing. You could even do an on-line scrapbook that comes out like a coffee table book. Something personal always works! Congratulations to your grandparents! I hope we hit 50 years!

Looking for ideas for a non-big chain (have williams-sonoma as a back-up) to order a gift certificate from. All I can think of is Penzeys, but if there was a great cooking store, organic nursery, restaurant, etc would love any ideas.

A) To be honest-when you are first married, you need a lot of stuff. I got a few decorative things but needed cookie sheets and utensils that no one had gotten me. I think the gesture is nice but perhaps pair it with something practical from her gift list. She might enjoy it! But also think about her having a new home to fill.

I need a wedding shower gift idea to be given from group?

Q) Ok we are having this suprise wedding shower. Almost all the people there are going to be high school or middle school kids. I need an idea for a gift that can be given from the group. Q) Hey there! My sister in law recently got married. I'm not really that close to her and neither is my husband but we want to get them something that is under $75. I was thinking instead of one item, something like a journal, a giftcard to somewhere...they are pretty strict Christians so maybe something like that...
